NATIONAL LEADER ON SMART GROWTH TO SPEAK at ELP NETWORKING EVENT: May 4, 6-8 p.m. at Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center
DON CHEN, ELP co-founder, and executive director of Smart Growth America, a leading national coalition of over 50 organizations that promote smart growth and livable communities, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) Networking Event in Philadelphia on Tuesday, May 4th.
As a national leader on smart growth field, Don will address Smart Growth?s America’s work and make connections to Philly region activities to promote a better way to grow, protect open space and farmland, revitalize neighborhoods, keep housing affordable, and provide better transportation choices. As a co-founder of the Environmental Leadership Program, now serving on our Advisory Committee, Don will highlight how the ELP Philadelphia Regional Network can expand and support regional smart growth efforts.
