This virtual event is part of the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2) Speaker Series: Conversations about race, equity, and justice with experts on social policy and social work.
This session is hosted and moderated by Ben Jealous, with featured guest Dr. Jisung Park. Discussion topics will include:
- In what ways is climate change a driver for inequality at the local and international level?
- How might the latest US climate bills affect climate inequality moving forward?
- What are the opportunities for social policy to further climate justice?
This session will include a discussion and Q&A portion moderated by Ben Jealous, with an introduction
from SP2 Dean, Dr. Sara S. Bachman and a closing from Associate Dean for Inclusion, Dr. Jerri Bourjolly.
