Environmental Issues in West Philadelphia: A Public Meeting
A new project Greening Philadelphia is seeking ways city government can address environmental issues in the city in order to improve our health, economy and quality of life. The heart of the Greening Philadelphia plan will come from Philly’s community and neighborhood associations- so we need to hear from YOU about the issues that are affecting your life.
A public meeting is being co-sponsored by PennFuture and the Sustainable Business Network where residents and local organizations can talk about what environmental issues- whether it’s zoning problems, air pollution or tree coverage- they care most about.
When: October 6, 2005 from 6 to 8pm
Where: Calvary United Methodist Church- 48th and Baltimore Ave
