Internship Opportunties – Environmental Intern
Environmental Intern will plan and implement their curriculum in collaboration with the Village’s well established Core Program: Learning through the Arts. Interns can choose to work with children ages 6-12 and/or teens age 13-18. This program consists of a sixteen week spring semester (March-June) and a six week summer camp (June-August)
Staff and Interns will work together to help create the Environmental Programs curriculum and integrate it into the broader vision of The Village. Interns will be expected to assist with and/or lead classes including prepartion, and clean up. Interns will be expected to help document the program through photographs, written evaluations, and closing celebration ceremonies. Experience with gardening , cooking, community organizing, environmental studies, education , natural science, visual and performing arts are encouraged but not necessary.
Applicants must be 18 years or older.
