Ensuring All Students Are On Target for College and Career Readiness
Posted by on December 15, 2008
COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS – The level of academic achievement that students attain by 8th grade has a larger impact on their college and career readiness than anything that happens academically in high school. A new report from ACT examines: the factors that influence college and career readiness; the effect that certain steps to improve students’ level of academic preparation would have on their degree of readiness for college and career; the academic growth of these students during high school; and the influence of their readiness on student behaviors related to academic performance.
