Faith groups targeted with capacity building conference
The Build|Restore Conference Philadelphia Metro: Enhancing the Capacity of Churches and Faith-Based Nonprofits to Transform Communities, a full-day conference, will take place on Saturday, March 27th at Word of Faith Christian Center, 4150 Market Street in Aston.
The conference, presented by Genesis Consulting, aims to help position community-serving church or faith organizations to increase their effectiveness and their fundraising.
Conference sessions include Building Your Board and Donor Base, Strategic Planning and Evaluation, Hands-On Grantwriting, Hands-On 501(c)(3) Formation, and a networking luncheon featuring a grantmaker panel discussion on the theme of “Strengthening Programs Through Effective Partnerships,” featuring speakers from the Gates Foundation, the Philadelphia Foundation, and the 21st Century Foundation.
All registrants will receive a professional review of one grant proposal or letter of inquiry.
