As the new academic year begins, what are the top goals or challenges for your campus? Is it student recruitment, retention, completion? Fund raising and a capital campaign? Increasing research productivity? Enhancing campus visibility among public and private leaders? Accelerate your institution’s ability to use community engagement strategies to improve performance on key goals by sending a strategic team to the CUMU Engagement Academy in Omaha, Nebraska, October 9-11, 2015. The Academy immediately precedes the CUMU Annual Conference hosted by the University of Nebraska Omaha.
More About the Academy
Evidence reveals that community engagement strategies can contribute powerfully to progress on hot issues facing higher education today. Over 2.5 days, institutional teams will work on their own and interactively with other campus teams to develop plans and ideas for advancing their institution’s performance and success. Academy mentors will help your team create a customized Action Place that supports your campus goals. The Engagement Academy is co-directed by Dr. Barbara Holland and Dr. Lorilee Sandmann.
The Engagement Academy will turn your team into leaders of change by equipping them with deep expertise and motivation to implement effective engagement actions that create measurable progress for your institution.
