CITIZEN POWER, a nonprofit energy advocacy organization, is offering a FREE introductory renewable energy and energy efficiency workshop. Participants receive six Act 48 credit hours, lunch, and over $140 of teaching resources including: a model wind turbine, a solar energy kit, a multi-meter, an LED bulb, a Kill-A-Watt meter, a water-saving kit, a flicker-checker, a resource binder and flashdrive. Geared for 6th–12th grade teachers of energy-related curriculum (science, tech-ed & career-tech).
