HELP END HUNGER IN PENNSYLVANIA!
The Governor?s Inter-Agency Council on Food and Nutrition is building its work strategies for the next four years to ?End Hunger in Pennsylvania?. If you are interested in combating hunger in the Commonwealth, then mark your calendar for Thursday, January 18th! The event will be held in the VIP room of the Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg, PA.
You will be invited to provide testimony on how to end this growing problem in Pennsylvania and participate in topical roundtable discussions to help build our framework for action.
The Governor?s Inter-Agency Council on Food and Nutrition consisting of the departments of Agriculture, Aging, Health, Public Welfare, Education and Community and Economic Development along with stakeholder groups shares and communicates a common vision and priorities to proactively reduce barriers to food access, and works to increase efficiencies in service delivery by maximizing resources from state and federal levels.
