eLit – Empowerment through Learning Information Technology
Mission: Empower socially and economically challenged women all over the world through technology education — specifically, free computer classes.
Classes held at Lombard Central Presbyterian Church, located at 42nd & Powelton Ave.
CLASSES ARE FOR WOMEN ONLY– Minimum Age is 18 and unable to afford schooling on their own. Classes are Free – no hidden costs. They supply everything.
Instruction will be offered in basic computer techniques including email, internet, MS Word & MS Excel.
Classes are self paced. A certificate will be awarded to those who finish each section.
New Classes begin on March 10 (will be held Mondays & Thursdays) 5-7pm. They offer classes every fall, spring and summer semesters.
