Empowerment Group seeks help for fundraising event in July!
The Empowerment Group, a non-profit organization in North Philadelphia, is planning its first-ever Philly Small Business Week, a week-long event to promote small/local businesses and raise funds for EG. Participating businesses will support the low-income business owners that EG serves by donating a percentage of their sales for one or more days during the week to the Empowerment Group. EG will market the program to media and corporate sponsors and provide extensive signage, flyers and postcards to participating businesses to promote the event.
When: July 17-23, 2005
Who: SBN members/other small business owners.
Why: To promote local businesses that care about community and small business development.
Where: Throughout Philadelphia.
