Employment Training Program Coordinator and Case Manager, Cathedral Kitchen
Posted by Cathedral Kitchen on January 26, 2021
Cathedral Kitchen (CK) is looking for a full-time Employment Training Program Coordinator to coordinate day-to-day operations for our training program and provide case management services to the program’s students and graduates.
Overview:
Cathedral Kitchen is a nonprofit organization in Camden that was founded 45 years ago, and our vision is success, hope and abundance for people in need in Camden. We work towards this vision by helping people out of food insecurity and championing their pursuit of stability and prosperity.
We do this through several programs. For example, we operate a Culinary and Baking Arts Training Program for low-income adults so that they can obtain jobs in the culinary and baking fields.
We are looking for someone to plan and manage the day-to-day operations of our job training program and assist students and graduates of the program with issues that may hinder their retention in the program and obtaining and keeping employment. CK’s training program has been active for the last 12 years, and we have graduated almost 400 students and placed 86% of the students in employment.
Strong candidates will have a passion for helping adults from low-income backgrounds, as well as a commitment to doing so in a welcoming and respectful way.
