Philly EPIP Hosts Peer Learning Circle
Wednesday, December 9
Philly EPIP Peer Learning Circles provide an opportunity for emerging leaders and practitioners in philanthropy to convene and discuss relevant leadership, innovation, social justice issues in the context of their own careers and organizations.
* Time: 9am – 10am
* Location: The Philadelphia Foundation, 1234 Market Street, Center City
* Cost: Please bring a new book for grades K-5. Books will be collected for a local school!
The December Philly EPIP Learning Circle will discuss Achieving Better Results through Shared Leadership, an article by Umi Howard that was featured in the October 2009 issue of the Philadelphia Social Innovations Journal.
Participants should read the article in advance of the meeting and come prepared to partake in a moderated discussion on the article in the context of their own careers and organizations. Umi Howard is a Project Manager at the United Way, and he will be present at the discussion.
