Citizens Energy corporation in partnership with Citgo Oil is providing oil assistance to individuals and shelters.
Most important, is that if oil heats your home and your income falls below 60% of NJ’s median income you will qualify to receive up to 200 gallons of oil, you will only have to pay 60% of the costs–Citizens Energy will pay 40%.
If you already received LIHEAP you are automatically approved.
There is also a benefit for free oil for shelter programs that are heated by oil.
