UW issues RFP for emergency food, shelter programs
United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) is pleased to issue a Request for Proposals for nonprofit organizations to provide mass shelter to homeless individuals within the national and local guidelines, and to agencies for emergency rent, mortgage, utility and food assistance.
Philadelphia County has been awarded the federal funds made available through the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency under the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP).
UWGPSNJ administers this program in Philadelphia County. The deadline for submitting applications is Monday December 1, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. For more information and to complete the application, please visit United Way’s website.
