Emergency food and shelter program funds available
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania is accepting applications for Emergency Food and Shelter Program funds in Philadelphia County.
Funds may be used by nonprofit organizations to provide mass shelter or safe haven to homeless individuals within the national and local guidelines. Funds are also available to agencies for emergency rent, mortgage, utility and food assistance.
An applicant forum will be held at United Way, 7 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, on Tuesday, October 20th at 3pm. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, November 6th at 5pm.
