The mission of the Project HOME community is to empower adults, youth, and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, to alleviate the underlying causes of poverty, and to enable all of us to attain our fullest potential as individuals and as members of the broader society. Job Summary: Part time After School Lead Teacher for high quality after school and Summer Enrichment Program in state of the art technology center. Lead Teacher plans and implements lessons that include project based learning for academic and life skills enrichment in a state of the art, high quality center. An evidence-based literacy program, and many additional resources are available to support creative and innovative programming. Lead Teacher collaborates with staff, parents and volunteers.
Hours are 3:00 – 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday during school year. Additional 1hr/day paid prep period with flexibility to complete prep (lesson planning and preparation) on site or remotely.
