Election Central for Teachers and Students
Posted by on September 22, 2008
As the election approaches, it is a great opportunity to get your students engaged and involved both in lessons in the classroom and as future voters.
The Constitutional Rights Foundation has created Election Central, a set of lessons for you to use, and in addition, one of our lessons is posted at another web site that has lots of youth voting information: Declare Yourself. On this site’s front page, go to Declare Your School and click on Teachers: Engage Your Students in the 2008 Election! There are also some short videos on the site that you might want to incorporate in your lessons.
CRF wishes you a good Fall season. We are committed to supporting you in your work with your students to ensure they will become informed, engaged, and involved citizens.
