NCC EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit) Campaign Coordinator

The NCC EITC Campaign Coordinator will manage and coordinate the Delaware EITC Campaign, a program provided by Nehemiah Gateway CDC, which offers opportunities for low-income working families to increase their financial well-being by promoting free tax preparation to take advantage of the Earned Income Tax Credit, other federal & state credits, and access to financial products, services and information.  Coordinate with the Campaign Director in Kent & Sussex Counties to market the campaign, recruit and train site staff and volunteers, and supervise the various tax sites throughout the state.

Skills/Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum 2+ years tax experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Well-developed computer skills in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, TaxWise, and other software necessary to complete job duties.

The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills including clearly, concisely and accurately written documents, grammar, spelling, and selection/organization of appropriate presentation methods. Should posses the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels, volunteers from diverse backgrounds, donors, community partners, independent contractors, parents and others; must possess a valid driver’s license, with insurable driving record (i.e. NO Points) and have reliable means of transportation.
