2003 EHRLICH FACULTY AWARD FOR SERVICE-LEARNING – Call for nominations

The Call for Nominations for the 2003 Ehrlich Faculty Award for
Service-Learning is now available at the Campus Compact Website:
www.compact.org/ccawards/ehrlichaward/ehrlichawardtitle.html.

Campus Compact invites you to nominate faculty from your institution for one
of the most prestigious awards in service and service-learning: the Thomas
Ehrlich Faculty Award for Service-Learning. Now in its ninth year, the
Thomas Ehrlich Faculty Award for Service-Learning has recognized faculty
across the country and across the disciplines. Each year Campus Compact,
with funding from TIAA-CREF, honors one faculty member for contributing to
the integration of community or public service into the curriculum and for
efforts to institutionalize service-learning, bringing acclaim and
recognition to the faculty?s home campus.

In addition to nominations from presidents, nominations can also be made by
faculty, students, administrators, and community partners, and multiple
nominations can be made from your campus. For consideration, all nomination
materials must be postmarked by February 14th, 2003.

This award has historically focused higher-education?s attention on the
exemplary work of faculty and campuses in service and service-learning. I
urge you to encourage nominations from your campus for consideration of this
award.
