Effective Legislative Presentations Webinar – September 17
The National Conference of State Legislatures is holding a webinar on how to effectively present ideas to lawmakers and their staff. Legislators often rely on staff to present bill drafts, fiscal notes, revenue estimates, and research results. Unfortunately, presenters may do things unconsciously that fail to inform and cause legislators to react poorly. This session provides a set of principles for understanding legislative life and preparing and delivering stand out presentations. The training is free, but spots are limited.
