A Safe-Hub is an ecosystem with a world-class infrastructure that consists of an artificial turf sports field connected to community buildings and a local economic development zone. It provides a physically and emotionally safe space where young people can access opportunities and support through sports and services that focus on personal development, health, digital education, employability, and entrepreneurship. Safe -Hub currently has impact -driven programs in South Africa, Germany, and the United States.
Safe-Hub established its first US operation in North Philly. Since launching in August 2020, the Safe-Hub team has worked with over 600 young people from Philadelphia’s most resource-constrained neighborhoods. Through local partnerships, community engagement, and high-quality soccer-based program implementation, Safe-Hub is revitalizing North Philly’s public spaces, bringing together the diverse community of Kensington through sport, play, and community resource access.
Job Scope
The EduSoccer Program Coordinator will be a critical resource to ensuring effective and efficient execution of active Safe-Hub EduSoccer programs, inclusive of facilitating a high -quality participant experience, soccer-based curriculum development, field and facility set up and support, community engagement and frontlines program administration and on-field quality assurance.
The EduSoccer Program Coordinator will be a frontlines leader in program implementation best practices and supporting coaches with continuous improvement in program delivery through ongoing training and support. The EduSoccer Program Coordinator will be the organization’s resident expert on youth soccer-based engagement.
