Education & Outreach Coordinator, Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC)
LBBC, a non-profit education and support organization dedicated to empowering all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life, is looking for a full time (40 hours/week including some weekends and evenings) Education and Outreach Coordinator to manage programs in the Ardmore, PA office. The primary responsibilities include: Coordinating Project Connect, LBBC?s community outreach program, developing and organizing education and support programs to women of color in medically underserved communities throughout the Greater Philadelphia area; developing relationships and promoting LBBC?s services at hospitals, health centers and community organizations; initiating, planning and coordinating trainings for health care providers and educators using LBBC?s publications, Getting Connected: African-Americans Living Beyond Breast Cancer and We Celebrate Tomorrow: Latinas Living Beyond Breast Cancer/Celebramos el Ma?ana: Latinas que Sobreviven el C?ncer del Seno; developing new educational materials for targeted populations; and representing LBBC and networking with local and national breast cancer organizations (attending meetings, conferences and outreach programs, etc.) as needed. A college degree is required and a Masters degree in public health, nursing, social work or related field is preferred. Send your resume and cover letter to LBBC, 10 E.
