The Teacher Action Group of Philadelphia is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Saturday, April 27, 2019, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Folk Arts-Cultural Treasures Charter School, 1023 Callowhill Street, Phila., PA, 19123 – Workshops, Curriculum Fair, Gallery of Student Work, Lunch Roundtables.
Teacher Action Group’s Education for Liberation Conference is turning 10. Ten years of convening, inspiring, connecting, incubating and building. Ten years of Movement-building and continued struggle of powerful victories and painful set backs. Ten years of lifting up the critical need to continue working towards education for liberation. We will be reflecting on lessons from the past ten years of organizing, creating opportunities to plug into the urgency of the current moment, and sharpening our skills at imagining and enacting a powerful vision for the future.
