Economic Empowerment Forum for Emerging Leaders

Posted by on April 23, 2007

I?m writing to invite you to an Economic Empowerment Forum for Emerging Leaders. The forum will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007 starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel at17th & Race Street. Sessions are free and open to the public, but registration is required. As a member of one of our targeted groups, we are offering you priority group registration. This registration entitles you to reserve and lock multiple slots. You will also have direct communication with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation?s Senior Research Analyst, a professional group photo to be displayed on our website, and a certificate of group participation.

As you are aware, young leaders have an important role to play in the economic growth and development of our communities. However, as national best seller, ?Rich Dad, Poor Dad? illustrates, people from most communities rarely receive the guidance necessary to develop the financial habits and information necessary for long term economic prosperity.

Funded by the Citigroup, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, in collaboration with Temple Youth VOICES, a project of the University Community Collaborative of Philadelphia (UCCP), will present a forum to build young economic leaders. The Youth Economic Empowerment Forum will give youth hands-on guidance to achieve financial literacy from some of the nation?s leading entrepreneurs.

If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact me by phone or email so we can reserve your slots.
