Eats and Beats is a community event including a locally-sourced, seasonal meal prepared by our youth interns, performances by our youth and local artists and a silent auction. Guests will be treated to a 5-course meal featuring ingredients donated by local farms, restaurants and businesses. Our youth are part of a national network of young leaders in food systems reform who are helping to grow a movement to build local, socially just food systems that nurture personal and environmental health. Join us on March 28th at the Newman Center at Penn (3720 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104) for a meal prepared and served by our youth!
The Agatston Urban Nutrition Initiative (AUNI) is a program of the Netter Center for Community Partnerships at the University of Pennsylvania that engages, educates and empowers youth, university students, and community members to promote healthy lifestyles and build a just and sustainable food system. Visit http://www.urbannutrition.org to learn more about our work.
