Grants support efforts in East Falls

The East Falls Community Council makes grants available to individuals and organizations with projects that benefit the East Falls Community. The application and more information are available here as well as at the Falls of the Schuylkill Library. Deadline is March 12, 2011.

Additional grant funds are available to underwrite an artistic or musical project or event that serves the residents of East Falls. Criteria for selection include the number of persons served, that it be open to all residents of the age group(s) it serves, that funding not be used to underwrite leader salaries or stipends, and that the event has a good marketing plan.  Nonprofit groups, schools, or individuals may apply and the program must be completed by December 1st.  Proposals are due by April 15th.
