Earthrise Film Screening at Philadelphia Film Center, June 24
Posted by Global Oneness Project on June 18, 2019
Global Oneness Project, WGBH/PBS and POV invite you to join us for a special free screening of our film Earthrise at the historic Philadelphia Film Center (1412 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102) on Monday, June 24 at 7-8:30 pm!
Earthrise has screened in over 50 museums around the country and was nominated for a Webby Award for the best video in science and education. A post-screening conversation with Rachel Connolly, WGBH science director, NASA scientist Alex Young, and ELA high school teacher Matt Hamilton will be moderated by Cleary Vaughan-Lee, director of Global Oneness Project. We’ll be sharing the launch of a global citizenry student photography project, #RememberEarth, and will highlight student work as well.
Here is a link to RSVP. It’s free and open to the public.
