Philly’s EARTH DAY ’06 FAIR! Sunday afternoon April 23, 2006 1:00 – 5:00 at Wissahickon Charter School, an eco-focused learning community, in their spectacular new environmentally-friendly building
4700 Wissahickon Ave.
Philadelphia, PA 19144
(near Rte 1 across from Fern Hill Park, HXH bus, Roberts Ave stop)
Over 20 area environmental groups! Tours of Wissahickon Charter School. Special activities for kids. PhillyFreecycle’s ? Free-for-All Drop-off your reusable items at WCS beginning Monday, April 17, or bring them with you to the fair before 2:00 PM.
Fair attendees are invited to model eco-friendly habits:
*Carpool, walk, bike, or take the HXH bus, since parking is limited.
*RecycleBank will be accepting your recyclables: tin, glass, paper, aluminum, and #1 & #2 plastic! So bring your rinsed containers!
*Bring copies of your PECO bills, to sign up for clean energy.
