Early Literacy and the READ! by 4th Campaign

The School Reform Commission is making Early Literacy and the READ! by 4th Campaign the subject of its first Strategy, Policy, and Priorities meeting of the year. The meeting will be held on November 3rd from 5-7pm at the School District’s Education Center, 440 N Broad Street. The purpose of these meetings is to educate the SRC and the public on pressing education policy issues in the city.
The November 3rd meeting will begin with a short presentation of the School District’s early literacy work, followed by two panel presentations – one on creating effective partners, and the other on parent engagement. In between each panel will be a group discussion.

Auditorium, 2nd Floor
Special invited guests: parents, families, teachers, Principals, literacy partners, and early childhood and out of school providers

Light refreshments will be served. Activities for young learners will also be provided.
