Early Head Start Teacher, Maternity Care Coalition

A teacher is needed for the Early Head Start program to assist with the implementation of the education program as outlined in both the adopted curriculum and the Head Start Performance Standards. The EHS teacher communicates daily with parents and staff regarding educational strengths and/or concerns of enrolled children, writes daily lesson plans and individualized daily schedules for each child, records daily observations and conducts quarterly home visits.
We seek interested individuals with experience working with young children (preferably infants or toddlers) and working with parents and community volunteers. An Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA in Infant/Toddler required. The position is in South Philadelphia. Individuals who are bi-lingual in Spanish/English and in Indonesian/English are encouraged to apply.
