Posted by Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) on September 26, 2023
The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) Planning Fellowship provides an opportunity to learn about urban and regional planning by serving in various departments at the Commission over the course of a year. DVRPC is committed to supporting a pipeline of talented individuals from historically and currently underrepresented minority communities into urban and regional planning and related fields. The selected fellow will participate in the daily activities of a government organization, complete specialized projects, and experience firsthand how transportation plans and investments are made in the Philadelphia region.
This position is designed for a person of color to explore the field of city and regional planning without prior training or experience. We encourage people with all different types of educational experiences and backgrounds to apply.
The DVRPC Fellowship is a paid, year-long, full-time, professional development program that begins January 2024 through December 2024. The Fellowship will aid in preparation for a successful career in planning or a related discipline, or to further your education. There will be one fellow at a time.
Fellowship applications are due on October 27, 2023.
