Applications Available for Drucker Award for Nonprofit Innovation
Deadline: July 1, 2012
The Drucker Institute at Claremont Graduate University has announced a call for applications for the 2012 Peter F. Drucker Award for Nonprofit Innovation.
The annual Drucker Award is granted to a social-sector organization that demonstrates Peter Drucker’s definition of innovation — “change that creates a new dimension of performance.” In addition, the judges look for programs that are highly effective and that have made a difference in the lives of the people they serve.
Applicants must be nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations.
Funded by a grant from the Coca-Cola Foundation, the first-place prize is $100,000. The second-place award is $7,500, and the third-place prize is $5,000.
Complete program guidelines, an FAQ, the online application form, and information about previous awardees are available at the Drucker Institute Web site.
