DREXEL UNIVERSITY
Clothing Drive to Benefit the Working Wardrobe
March 17-April 11
The Working Wardrobe helps to bridge the gap between job training and employment for economically challenged women. Working Wardrobe provides interview appropriate clothing, at no cost, and job readiness support to women making the transition from welfare to work or beginning a life free from domestic violence or homelessness.
Drexel University will be collecting donations every Tuesday and Thursday between March 17 and April 11 on the Drexel University campus. Donations can be dropped off between 12:00PM and 2:00PM in the Dean of Students Office located in #215 Creese Student Center. When dropping off your donation, please remember to take a donor form, which will serve as a receipt for tax purposes.
The Working Wardrobe accepts clean and pressed women’s interview-appropriate clothing including accessories. Please bring clothing on hangers. Currently the organization is only accepting spring and summer clothing.
