There are plenty of spots available in Drexel University’s Philadelphia Teacher Residency program. Residents receive a salary, benefits, and tuition scholarship from the School District of Philadelphia and work side by side with a mentor teacher for a year while taking certification courses at Drexel. Students are placed in a teaching position in a Philadelphia public school upon completion of the program. Deadline to apply is May 31st.
