ENJOY SPENDING TIME WITH KIDS?
WANT TO GO BACK TO THE DAYS OF PLAYGROUND GAMES OF KICKBALL AND FOOTBALL?
I KNOW YOU DO!
COME HANG OUT AT DREW ELEMENTARY WITH THE KIDS ON THEIR RECESS BREAK!!
AS LITTLE AS HALF AN HOUR A WEEK!!
I’ll keep this short. My name is Paul Byrne. I’m organizing recess activities for the kids at Drew Elementary, who right now just run around on a concrete lot. I need students who are willing to donate as little as half an hour a week to come and supervise games such as kickball, football and jump rope.
Times are:
11:30 – 12:00 = 1st and 2nd grade
12:15 – 12:45 = 3rd thru 5th grade
1:00 – 1:30 = 6th thru 8th grade
If you can volunteer for any of these times, any day of the week, please contact me. We really need help with the last two shifts on Monday and Tuesday, the last shift on Wednesday, the first and last on Thursday and the first shift on Friday, but of course would love to have you at any time. It’s fun, it’s easy and the kids will love you for it. Drew Elementary is at 38th and Powelton, one block north of Market.
