Produced by Meisha Robinson and directed by James Williams, the documentary I Am Because We Are shares the stories of the youth living the realities of South Africa’s 50% youth unemployment rate and a Black American woman inspired by their stories that starts an organization, I Am, We Are, to give youth more than a fighting chance to succeed. Q&A segment with the director and I Am, We Are’s founder to follow. The documentary viewing time is 45 minutes.
