(DIS)PLACED: Philadelphia | Artist Meet & Greet
Posted by Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture on November 6, 2017
We at Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture are thrilled to be hosting Tunisian-French artist eL Seed for an upcoming mural in the West Philadelphia neighborhood, as an extension of our ongoing (DIS)PLACED project. This series of narratives, visual arts, poetry and music is an initiative exploring the theme of displacement across Philadelphia’s diverse communities and from the perspective of an artist-in-residence of Arab heritage.
I am reaching out to extend an invitation to you and your team for our upcoming events during eL Seed’s visit. Both events are free and open to the community!
Saturday, November 11th | 6:00pm | Slought Gallery (4017 Walnut Street)
eL Seed Meet & Greet with West Philadelphia neighbors.
Sunday, November 12th | 3:00pm | Perry World House (3803 Locust Walk)
eL Seed in conversation with street art blogger Conrad Benner.
