Disney Teacher Awards
Disney Teacher Awards are presented to teachers in the U.S. who construct learning environments where students and teachers explore, imagine, and engage in a variety of stimulating ideas and experiences. The program honors those teachers whose approaches exemplify creative teaching and who foster a joy for learning in their students.
Eligibility: teachers
Maximum Award: $10,000, a $5,000 grant for their school, and a six-day professional development institute with their principal at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Deadline: October 15, 2005.
