We are pleased to announce June webconference how to use great resources from DisabilityInfo.gov.

DisabilityInfo.gov (<a href="http://www.DisabilityInfo.gov">http://www.DisabilityInfo.gov</a>) is an award winning federal Web site, managed by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) (<a href="http://www.dol.gov/odep">http://www.dol.gov/odep</a>). It is designed to offer people with disabilities and others access to the information and resources they need to live full and independent lives in the workplace and in their communities. National and community service programs will find a wealth of information that can support their efforts to include volunteers with disabilities in their programs, as well as information for programs delivering services to people with disabilities. These resources include information on: the ADA/Section 504, disability organizations, creating an accessible environment, reasonable accommodations, youth with disabilities, disability benefits programs and emergency preparedness.**
Presenter:
Bob Goldstraw has more than 20 years of federal government service and ten years of private sector experience. His areas of expertise include communications, research, writing and editing, particularly in the areas of disability and employment policy. Since 2004 Bob has been the Project Manager for Concepts, Inc.?s work on the website DisabilityInfo.gov. From 1998-2002 Mr. Goldstraw was a staff member on the former Presidential Task Force on Employment of Adults with Disabilities. Since 2002 Bob has been a consultant on a variety of disability-related policy and communications projects, most recently with the U.S. Department of Labor?s Office of Disability Employment Policy.
