A key aspect of Philadelphia Education Fund’s work is ensuring that every high school student in Philadelphia is supported in understanding and pursuing their options for a postsecondary academic journey, anchored in college launched its College Access Program – a college advising and counseling program closely aligned with the needs of the Philadelphia School District and students attending its lowest graduation-rate high schools.
PEF’s TRIO College Access Program is a signature effort with a rich and deep history in the city and having served an estimated 100,000 students in the span of more than 30 years. The Director of the TRIO College Access Program is responsible for leveraging that rich history through innovation, team leadership, data informed strategies, and relationship building within the vast and growing network of college access programs supporting Philadelphia’s students.
