Project director sought for coalition on opioids and children
The Philadelphia Coalition on Opioids and Children is being organized to address the needs of children impacted by the opioid epidemic in Philadelphia who are involved with child welfare services. The Coalition, which will be established formally in early 2019, will be facilitated by Turning Points for Children, an affiliate of Public Health Management Corporation, and involve a wide variety of community stakeholders and city agencies. Its goals are to develop recommendations for meeting the needs of children and families affected by opioid addiction, develop training and public awareness activities, and conduct a needs assessment.
