Director of Travel and Recreational Programs, Kensington Soccer
Posted by Kensington Soccer Club on May 17, 2022
Join a growing and thriving organization with strong community relationships, dedicated coaches, and a pay-what-you-can model that prioritizes inclusion and access. Help us eliminate barriers by coordinating recreational soccer programs at multiple sites and by building out our travel programs to serve all genders, ages, ethnicities, and incomes with a positive, fun, and inclusive culture.
Program and Job Overview:
We have been running inclusive pay-what-you-can recreational and travel programs for all ages since 2012. We’ve recently been expanding to add recreational programs at more locations so children and families have somewhere they can walk to and we’re planning to add even more locations. For our travel teams, we want to expand to make sure we have girls teams for every age and that all our teams are diverse, inclusive, and accessible. We also want to explore the creation of programs for children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. With all these programs, we want to make sure we’re supporting our coaches to run quality sessions that engage all the children and incorporate trauma-informed methodology while improving soccer skills, having fun, and developing the whole child.
