Director of Professional Services, Family and Community Service of Delaware County
Family and Community Service of Delaware County seeks Director of Professional Services (DPS) to act as administrator for the Agency’s clinical programs and services.
Delaware County is the suburban county that is contiguous with the western border of Philadelphia, PA. This diverse county has a population of 550,000 persons, and includes both affluent communities and pockets of poverty in its older towns and cities, including those towns that border Philadelphia, and the City of Chester.
Primary responsibilities include program planning and development, grant writing, program implementation and administration, supervision of program managers and clinicians, community relations and outreach, staff development, and quality assurance.
The DPS participates in annual and long-range strategic planning, participates in developing and monitoring budgets of clinical services and programs, participates in and supports development and communications activities, develops and implements procedures for service delivery and evaluation of effectiveness of services, and participates in advocacy activities as appropriate.
The DPS reports to the Executive Director, and is a member of the Agency’s senior management team. The DPS provides input to the Board as appropriate, and acts as liaison to the Board’s Planning and Professional Services Committee.
Required qualifications include Master’s degree in Social Work, Pennsylvania clinical social work license, Magellan credential, clinical experience as a marriage and family therapist, and relevant supervisory and administrative experience. Extensive progressively more senior level experience with program planning and development, including grant writing and grant administration, is preferred. The successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communications skills, and proficiency in relevant computer software applications.
Salary range: $57,000-$62,000, competitive benefits and staff development opportunities.
