POSITION: DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE & QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AND EVALUATION
STATUS: Full-time (40 hours/week); Benefits Eligible
HOURS: Monday-Friday; 9am – 5pm
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Deputy Executive Director, the PQI Director is responsible for conducting PQI reviews of all United Communities departments; supervises the PQI Specialist and Outcomes & Evaluation Specialist; coordinates the agency’s national accreditation; provides support and training to staff around PQI; facilitates use of the Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database; coordinate funder-related evaluation and program outputs/outcomes; represents the agency in industry-group conferences, professional associations, and other public venues; identifies best practices and improves internal systems with an eye towards future needs, budget realities and changes in the funding environment.
Qualifications – Essential:
- Masters Degree from an accredited school of higher education (MSW is preferred)
- Success in roles requiring execution of multiple tasks while responding to multiple priorities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in organizational settings
- Self-starter, self-disciplined
- Working understanding of child and family development
Knowledge, Skills & Experience – Essential:
- Minimum 3 years experience in the field of social work, case management and/or counseling
- Planning agendas/meetings
- Excellent writing, documentation and communication skills
- Ability to define performance standard
- Ability to interact across all levels with a diverse populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience – Desirable:
- Minimum 5 years experience managing nonprofit programming
- Ability to remain focused in the face of pressure, deliver against timelines, not intimidated by tasks/time limitations
- Passionate about United Communities’ mission and impact
- Experience working with Social Solutions Efforts to Outcomes
- Spark, imagination, creativity
