Uplift Center for Grieving Children, located in Philadelphia, PA, provides peer support groups for children and their caregivers grieving the death of someone close to them. Uplift provides grief support groups in schools during the day, at partnering organizations, and at our sites in the evenings, as well as training for professionals who work with children and families. All grief support groups are free. Uplift is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented Director of Operations who will manage general operational and administrative functions, oversee government reporting requirements, assist in fiscal management and reporting, and manage consultants and part-time employees handling human resources and information technology. Our ideal candidate would be enthusiastic about building and managing relationships, hold anti-racist values, and be dedicated to practicing from an anti-oppression lens.
