Director of Nursery School & Kindergarten

Mt. Pleasant Community Development Corporation is seeking a full-time Director for the nursery school & Kindergarten. Candidates should be highly motivated and career oriented with strong communication and staff development skills. Individual must have extensive knowledge of early childhood education programs and the desire for community outreach.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations, marketing, enrollment, financial management, program planning and teacher assessment. This position will report to the Executive Director of the Mt Pleasant Community Development Corporation.

Requirements
 BS in Early Childhood Education plus 5 years experience in a nursery school setting.
 Pennsylvania certification preferred. Uncertified applicants will be considered but must obtain certification within 12-15 months of employment.
 Certification in first aide preferred.
 Familiarity with A Beka curriculum and Keystone Stars Program preferred.
