Position Description:

Ideal candidates are bright, creative, patient, motivated, articulate, compassionate and well-training professionals excited to work in a team environment to make a direct impact on young people’s lives through their focused efforts in three primary areas:

  1. Direct Student Support: provide daily positive behavioral services and education to middle and high school student-athletes across three tiers of mental health and wellness (below); engage families, school partners and external agencies to create a comprehensive year-round plan to support children; track/monitor services and progress; and develop and navigate a network of local referral resources at appropriate agencies to assist students and families
  2. Employee Training & Education: develop and deliver an employee education and training program to improve knowledge and awareness of best practices and methods to existing and future program staff in order to increase organizational identification, reach, impact and effectiveness in the above direct service areas.
  3. New Initiatives: serve as an organizational spokesperson to the community, external partners and funders; plan, design and implement new community programs in coordination with the Community team to foster mental health and wellness in the surrounding neighborhoods; promote and execute planned service events (grief, teen, etc.); and disseminate resources on topics of interest to families in our community.
