Principal – Vision Academy Charter School
Director of Instruction with Principal License
Vision Academy Charter School (VACS) is seeking a full-time Director of Instruction with PA Principal License.
Qualifications: Working knowledge of charter operations; Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; Capable of coordinating school’s academic operations; Working knowledge about Core Knowledge, Direct Instruction Practices, Project Based Learning; Expertise in technology (i.e. school-wide chromebooks and IPAD initiatives), curriculum alignment, data-driven decision making; At least 3 years of teaching experience.
A passion for bringing Vision Academy Charter School’s philosophy and methodology to public education is a priority.
Experience in implementing the Framework for Teaching Evaluation Instrument (My Learning Plan Inc.) is preferred.
Experience in Managing After School/Extended programs (i.e. 21st Century Community Learning Centers grants) is preferred.
