Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Community Behavioral Health

The Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will lead CBH efforts to realize a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) workplace. This includes developing and implementing strategies that advance organizational change, foster a positive and inclusive work environment for everyone and, ensure that DEI collaborations are incorporated in the decision-making processes.
Essential Functions:
- Develops, leads, and executes CBH’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy, programs and learning initiatives.
- Partners with senior leaders across the company to embed a DEI culture into all teams.
- Establishes metrics and benchmarks to measure progress of DEI goals.
- Acts as the subject matter expert on all DEI matters and be the accountability leader for the DEI strategy evolution.
- Researches, develops, recommends, and executes creative strategies to foster the organizations diversity goals.
- Reviews current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support or hinder CBH’s diversity goals.
- Collects and analyzes statistical data to evaluate the company’s population in accordance with diversity standards and goals.
- Collaborates and partners with Human Resources in areas such as hiring, succession planning, development, and engagement.
- Develops and/or acquires training and development to aid diversity and retention initiatives.
- Provides guidance to supervisory and human resources staff in developing objective performance and other employee evaluations and policies.
- Maintains knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
- Provides training and policy updates to colleagues, ensuring legal compliance of management and human resources staff.
